Brenda Louella Reed

Brenda Louella Reed, 62, of Manchester, MD, passed peacefully Monday January 2, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. Born April 7, 1954 in Hampstead she was the daughter of Clara Louella Kester Wilson of Hampstead and the late Robert Edward Sies, Sr.
Years ago, she worked at Maryland Cup and Carroll Hospital Center. She was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church where she enjoyed Sunday Bible Study. She also enjoyed camping, animals, and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her children; Tammy Sue Hahn of Hanover, PA, and Donald Leroy Reed, Jr. of Hampstead, MD, grandchildren: Brent, Sydney, Zachary, Mason, Tyler, Gabrielle and Christian, siblings: Sharon Latimer of Reisterstown, Audrey Combs of Woodbine, Charles Sies of Manchester and James Sies of Westminster and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by a brother: Robert Edward Sies and a stepfather: Roland Kenneth Wilson, Sr.
The family will receive friends on Sunday Jan. 8, 2017 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 from 3-5 and 7-9pm, where a funeral service will be held at 8:15pm. Interment is private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral chapel to help with final expenses.
