Bruce Gardner, 89 years old of Hampstead, died Saturday, June 26, 2010 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born November 25, 1920 in North Carolina, he was the son of the late Dewey and Rena Hill Gardner.
He was the husband of Beulah Greybeal Gardner for 67 years.
He worked as an auto mechanic for Parks Ford and most recently a greeter at Weis Grocery Store both in Hampstead.
In addition to his wife is survived by 2 children and their spouses: Linda and Sam Mosley and Bruce A. and Lana Gardner, all of Manchester, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, 2 siblings: Monroe Gardner of Steltz, PA. and Blanda Gann of Salt Lake City , Utah.
He was predeceased by his siblings: Arthur, Ted, D.C. and J.B. Gardner and Blanche Gardner Byrd.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr., Manchester,21102, where services will be held on Wednesday at 10:00 AM. Rev. John Campbell officiating.
Interment in New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
