Bruce Newell Sargent

Bruce Newell Sargent, 68, of Taneytown, MD, formerly of Manchester, MD, passed away on Monday, September 27, 2021, at his home.  Born on November 29, 1952, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Wilbur Newell and Georgia Ann Kouns Sargent.  He was the beloved husband for 50 years to Raenell Henry Sargent.

Bruce had retired as a mason for French Construction.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Mark Earl Sargent and wife Jennifer Kountz Sargent of New Windsor, MD, Becky Rae Matthews and husband Mike Matthews of Glenville, PA, grandchildren: Caleb, Chase, and Luke, and great-granddaughter: Landyn.

He was predeceased by his son: Mathew Newell Sargent.

Funeral services and interment are private.
