Burrell James Lyles, Sr. 84 years old of Forest Hill, MD died Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Forest Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Harford County, Maryland.
Born April 14, 1930 in Inman, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Larkin Lyles and Susan Smith Lyles.
He was the husband of Karin Berner Lyles.
Mr. Lyles served honorably with the U.S. Army for his entire career retiring as Sargent First Class.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children: Debra Lyles, Candance Lyles. Burrell J. Lyles, Jr., Jacqueline Lyles, Jeannette Phillips, Stephan Lyles, Anthony Mabrey , Lucius Mabrey, Charles Goldsborough and Juanitta Barnes.
Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 12, 2015 at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at which time services will begin.
Interment in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery with Military Honors at 11:30 AM.
