Candy Elizabeth Mccord

Candy Elizabeth McCord, 73, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Monday, October 24, 2022, at Autumn Lake Heathcare at Longview, Manchester, MD. Born on September 13, 1949, in Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Frederick Richard Loder and Sarah Elizabeth Beihl Loder. She was the beloved wife of the late Dwight Ernest McCord.

Candy was exceptionally talented as an artist and crafter. She found a life long joy in creative expression as well as teaching others how to express themselves creatively. Candy often volunteered her creative talents for her community and was a member of the American Gourd Society.

Surviving her are sons: Tom McCord and wife Helen, Benjamin McCord and husband Andy Miles, grandchildren: Jessica and Steven, Cullen, Drew and Libby, Charles and Emily, siblings: Gail Piper and Mary Kay Loder, and many friends.

Candy was predeceased by her son: Timothy McCord.

Funeral services and interment are private.
