Carl Wilmer Magee, 81 years old of Randallstown, died Monday, February 8, 2010 at his home.
Born June 5, 1928 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Joseph Oliver Magee and Ella Susanna Baier Magee.
He was the husband for 58 years of Elsa Lillian Beyer Magee.
Mr. Magee was a graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He was a Mechanical Engineer, working to design various mechanical systems ranging from military to medical equipment. He was a member of the Mt. Paran Presbyterian Church in Randallstown. He enjoyed building model houses and other structures that he used in his Christmas gardens. He loved singing with and was a member of the Dundalk Chapter of the Barbershop Harmony Society. He played the accordion and piano and was an antique car collector and enthusiast. He was also a master carpenter and builder. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children and their spouses, Joseph C. and Mary T. Magee of Reisterstown, Mark C.C. Magee of Timonium, Thomas C. and Janice Magee of Sykesville and Mary Lou E.C. Magee-Kern and Leonard G. Kern of Reisterstown, daughter-in-law Yvonne Magee of Finksburg, 7 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. He was predeceased by his son David A. Magee.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Paran Presbyterian Church, 10308 Liberty Rd. Randallstown, MD 21133 Pastor Edward A. Terry, Jr. officiating.
Interment in the Church Cemetery.
