Carol Ann Brashears, 74, of Hampstead passed away on Wednesday, August 26, 2015 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster. She was born April 9, 1941 in Baltimore, and was the daughter of the late Chester Doering and Grace Hoffman Doering. For 55 years, she was the wife of Carl Gilbert Brashears.
A retired tax preparer for H&R Block, Carol enjoyed reading, traveling, bingo, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.
Surviving in addition to her husband are children, Kimberly Miraldi of Clarksville, TN, Pamela Golden of Westminster, Carl G. Brashears, Jr. of Bel Air, Jill Miller of Towson, her grandchildren Megan, JL, Mark, Karli, Blake, Carl, Lily, Rex, and her great-granddaughter Ava.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester. The family will receive friends from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a memorial service following at 4 p.m.
