Carol Lynn Miller

Carol Lynn Miller, “Lynnie”, 78 years old, of Manchester, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 17, 2026, after a courageous battle with cancer. Born February 19, 1948, in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late Malvin and Louise Smith. She was the beloved wife of the late Donald E. Miller, with whom she shared nearly 44 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2014.

Raised in Hampstead, she graduated from North Carroll High School in 1966. On September 5, 1970, after six years of dating, she married her high school sweetheart, Donald E. Miller. She worked as a beautician for several years before becoming a full-time home-maker. She was a devoted and hardworking mother whose children always came first. Above all, she cherished spending time with her family and her friends and neighbors. In her free time, she enjoyed reading and cheering on her beloved Baltimore Orioles. She was a member of St. Mark’s United Church of Christ in Hampstead.

She is survived by her children and their spouses: Daryl Vincent Miller and his wife Dr. Kelly Miller, along with their children, Patrick, Olivia, and Brock; Dr. Danielle Lynn Miller and her husband Dr. Benjamin Biebel, along with their children, Benjamin, Nicholas, and Reese; and Dayton Lee Miller and his wife Maria Camacho, along with their children, Landon and Josephine. She is also survived by her sisters, Diana Rill, Brenda Burke, Melanie Schuman, and Becky Greenwood, as well as many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 25th from 1:00-3:00 PM and 5:00-7:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr. Manchester, MD 21102. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 26th, 10:00 AM at St. Mark’s United Church of Christ, 1616 Cape Horn Rd. Hampstead, MD 21074.
