Carol Ann Sheffler

Carol Ann Sheffler, 61, of Hanover, PA, passed away on Monday, September 7, 2026, at Gettysburg Hospital in Gettysburg, PA. Born on December 8, 1964, in Carroll County, MD, she was the daughter of the late Gene Oden Hare and Mary Alice Harper Hare. She was the beloved wife of 34 years to David Wayne Sheffler.

Carol worked as an accounting manager for T. Rowe Price and Care First. She was a member of Millers United Methodist Church, where she served as treasurer for many years. Carol loved her dogs; Sophie, Butters, and Lucy, and her cats.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Nicholas Sheffler and Natalie Sheffler, both of Hanover, PA, and sister: Sherry Rill and husband Allen of Hanover, PA.

Carol was predeceased by her daughter: Mary Christina Sheffler.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 10, from 6-8 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Friday, September 11, at 10 am.

Interment to follow in Millers United Methodist Church Cemetery, Millers, MD.
