Carolyn Ann Allen

Carolyn Ann Allen, 80, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore City, MD. Born on October 21, 1945, in Norfolk, VA, she was the daughter of the late Caroline Maddox. She was the beloved wife of 60 years to William “Bill” Howard Allen, Jr., who passed away almost a year ago on September 17, 2025.

Carolyn worked in the banking industry, where she began as a bank teller and worked her way up to branch manager. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Nothing was more of a priority than her family and friends, bringing joy to all she knew and encountered. Carolyn traveled to Texas and South Carolina as frequently as possible to be family and enjoy the warmer weather. She loved traveling to new Countries and Cities.

Surviving her are children: Dale E. Allen and partner Cheri Rodgers of South Carolina, Lisa Marie McCoy and husband Dewey of Texas, grandchildren: Cheyanne and Charlton McCoy and sister: Bonnie Miller of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Carolyn was predeceased by her sister: Sandra Ray.

Funeral services and interment are private.
