Carolyn Ann Price age 69 of Manchester, MD died Saturday May 1, 2010 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.
Born on April 30, 1941 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late George Jacob and Frances Catherine Knoll Meyer.
She had worked in the deli, produce and seafood departments at the Weis Food Market in Hampstead, MD. Years ago she drove school buses and had owned and operated a Towing Company.
She enjoyed working on cars. She also enjoyed showing and training dogs and liked all kinds of animals. She enjoyed watching golf.
She is survived by her children Janet Long and her husband Bill of Columbia, SC and Larry Price and his wife Wanda of Littlestown, PA; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Jacob, Rachael, Courtney and Caitlyn; her sister Doris Raykwith of Columbia and her friends Brian, Lisa and Alex Alford.
The family will receive friends 7-9 p.m. Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday.
Interment will be in John Luther Miller Cemetery in Westminster.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Carroll County Humane Society, 2517 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, MD. 21158
