Carroll Leroy Johnson, Jr.

Carroll Leroy Johnson, Jr., 78 of Reisterstown, MD passed peacefully Sunday, May 28, 2017 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD. Born Sept. 20, 1938 in Baltimore he was the son of the late Carroll L. and Josephine Allen Johnson. He was the husband of Jane Cullen Johnson.

Carroll was a retired administrator for Howard County Public Works. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran and a member of All Saint's Episcopal Church. He liked to play and watch basketball. He also enjoyed watching his grandchildren play sports and working in his yard.

Surviving in addition to his wife, are children; Laura Johnson Bosley and Brian A. Johnson and wife Lori, grandchildren; Steven and wife Kristina, Scott and wife Casey, John and Michael Bosley and Jack and Tommy Johnson, great granddaughter; Reighlynn Bosley. He was also survived by a brother; Robert Johnson and wife Jean.

The family will receive friends on Friday June 2, 2017 from 6-8pm. and on Saturday from 1-3pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Rd., Owings Mills, MD. 21117. Funeral services will be on Saturday at 3:00pm.  Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to All Saint's Episcopal Church, 203 Chatsworth Ave., Reisterstown, MD. 21136.
