Catherine Ann Butler, 76, of Fairview, NC died Wednesday, January 21, 2015 at Missions Memorial Hospital.
She was daughter of late James P Surges and Concetta Surges. She was the wife of late Joseph B Butler.
Surviving are sons James P Hammersla, and Thomas M Hammersla and wife Wanda; her 6 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
She worked at Immigration Department for over 20 years. She was like a mom to us all. She was loved an in return a blessing. Her passing will be marked by the lives she touched and the hole she leaves, that we didn't realize was quite so big.
Friends and family may call 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday, January 27 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a Requiem Mass celebrated 11 a.m. Wednesday, January 28 at the St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church, 2930 Hanover Pike, Manchester with the Rev. Fr. Michael Roach as celebrant.
Interment will be at Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills.
