Catherine Janet DeBliek age 97 of Millers, MD. died Monday March 4, 2103 at the Longview Nursing Home in Manchester, MD.
Born August 21, 1915 in New Jersey she was the daughter of the late Adrian John and Gertrude Orange. She was the wife of the late Jacob DeBliek who died July 1959.
She was a housewife and enjoyed working on her farm where she raised cattle, worked in the garden and raise fruit trees. Though the years she donated many cattle to River Valley Ranch. She was a founding member of Grace Bible Church in Manchester, MD. and a devout Christian.
She is survived by her daughters: Carol Fox of Millers, MD. and Cathy Gannaway of York, PA. sister: Audrey Dorazowski of Lititz, PA. grandchildren: Michael Gannaway, Abigail Gannaway and Christine Gannaway Little and great grandson: Jace Little.
She was predeceased by siblings: William Orange, Henrietta Zentgraf and Barbara Orange Bisset.
Funeral services will be held at St. Paul's Independent Church, 5010 St. Pauls Rd. Millers, MD. on Saturday at 2:00 pm.
Interment in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Dr. Manchester, MD. on Friday from 5:00-8:00pm.
