Catherine A. Henderson

Catherine A. Henderson, 87, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on May 10, 2018 in Bel Air, MD. Born on September 30, 1930, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Marie Theresa Soter Allen. She was the loving wife of the late Robert M. Henderson, Sr.

Catherine was an avid gardener and a member at Piney Branch Golf Club. She worked as a bookkeeper and later at Rite Aid. In her youth, she worked in Hutzlers Department Store.

Surviving her are children: Robert M. Henderson, Jr. and wife Sarah of Forest Hill, MD and Charles B. Henderson and wife Kathy of Florida, grandchildren: Matthew and Daniel, sister: Frances Kelly and her children, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, May 17, from 5:30-7:30 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, May 18, at 10 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD 21071. Interment to follow at 1 pm in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD.
