Catherine A. Hynes

Catherine A. Hynes, 94, of Westminster, MD, passed away on February 16, 2018, at Brightview Senior Living in Westminster, MD. Born on May 22, 1923, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late James H. and Ethel C. (Althoff) Walsh. She was the loving wife of the late Joseph P. Hynes.

Catherine was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Years ago, she worked as an office manager at Kronheim Company, Inc.

Surviving her are nieces: Deborah Loveland, Paula Gardner, Kathleen Clagg, and Karen Duerling, and many great nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by siblings: Charles Walsh, Joseph Walsh, Mary Morningstar, and Regina Lample.

A visitation will be held on Sunday, February 18, from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 19, at 11 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 63 Sacred Heart Lane, Glyndon, MD. Interment to follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD.
