Cathy Ann Garcia-Briones

Cathy Ann Garcia-Briones, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Autumn Lake Heathcare at Long View in Manchester, MD. Born on May 13, 1959, in Cumberland, MD, she was the daughter of Albert Bozzell (Gail) and the late Betty Lee Ellen Jett Bozzell. She was the beloved wife of William Garcia Briones.

Years ago, Cathy worked as a dietitian at Long View Nursing Home. Since her retirement, Cathy has enjoyed camping trips with her sisters and Amica. She enjoyed going to bingo and carnivals. She was a big fan of Elvis Presley and enjoyed Elvis impersonator shows. Cathy also enjoyed arts and crafts, particularly Diamond art

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Debbie Herald (Sam), Edward L. Watson, Jr. (Linell), Richard Ravenscroft (Anne), Amica Eggers, grandchildren: Scott D. Jarriel, Madison Jarriel, Sandra Foster, Tiffany Foster, Christopher Foster, Edward Watson III, Noah Watson (Courtney), Brandy Watson, Richard Ravenscroft, Jr. (Jessica), Austin Ravenscroft, and many great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings: Robin Carter, Rhonda Connors, Duane Bozzell, and several nieces and nephews.

Cathy was predeceased by her children: Betty L. Watson and Scott W. Jarriell, granddaughter: Candice Granger, and siblings: Dennis Bozzell and Cheryl Beck.

A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 23, from 4-6 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a prayer service will take place at 5 pm.
