Charles (Chuck) Robert Thompson, 57, of Hanover died Saturday Feb. 2, 2008 at the Saint Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. He was born August 17, 1950 in Maryland he was the son of Charles Thompson of Brooklyn, MD and the late Lillian World Thompson. He was the husband of Joyce Ann Mangan Thompson of Hanover.
He was a truck driver for Terminal Trucking. He was an Army veteran. He was a member of the McSherrystown Moose, the Hanover AMVETS, V.F.W. and the American Legion.
Surviving in addition to his father and wife are his children Tina Thompson of Hanover and Tonia Virts of Brooklyn, MD and Charles Thompson of Georgia; his brother Michael Thompson of South Baltimore, MD; his sisters Debbie Sutherland of South Baltimore, MD and Sharon Burns of Brooklyn, MD and three grandchildren; his stepmother Peggy Thompson of Brooklyn, MD and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive. Manchester, MD on Wednesday Feb. 6, 2008 at 3:00 pm.
Interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery, Owings Mills, MD on Thursday at 10:00 am.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday and Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
