Charles Herbert Dyas, 47, of Hampstead died Wednesday, April 23, 2008.
Born April 12, 1961, at North Charles Hospital in Baltimore, he was the son the late Thomas Walter and Louise Henrietta Ermer Dyas. He was the husband of Dawn Elizabeth Palmer Dyas, his wife of 12 years.
He was a graduate of North Carroll High School, class of 1979. He was elected to Who's Who and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was a master certified elite in management for Mercedes Benz. He was the service manager for Mercedes Benz of Annapolis.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are sisters and brothers-in-law Joan Marie and Arland Allen White Sr. and Nancy Louise and Frederick William Kacher III; brother and sister-in-law Thomas Walter Dyas Jr. and Sharon Lee Dyas; nieces and nephews Arland White Jr. and Tracy White, Eric White, Frederick and Pamela Kacher, Glen and Amy Kacher, Ellen and Michael Burkhouse, Daniel and Tara Kacher, Shelly and Zachary Crisler, and Stacy Dyas; great nieces and nephews Melissa and Jaclyn White, Martin Karst, Katherine, Jennifer, Thayer and Chase Kacher and Elizabeth Burkhouse.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, with the Rev. George Tuttle of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hampstead officiating.
Interment will be in the Dyas Family Burial Plot in Hampstead.
The family will receive friends from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Saturday and Sunday at the funeral chapel.
