Charles “Charlie” Lee Calhoun

Charles "Charlie" Lee Calhoun, 78, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Wednesday, October 16, 2024, at his home. He was born on September 12, 1946, in Montgomery County, MD. Charlie was the beloved husband of 54 years to Deborah Kay BonDurant Calhoun.

Charlie worked as an engineering tech for the Maryland State Highway Administration. He was a very proud and devoted father to his daughters. Charlie had a good sense of humor. He loved geology and rock collecting. Charlie enjoyed old western movies and building realistic models of tanks. He was a member of Grace Bible Church.

Surviving him in addition to his wife is daughter: Shannon Aberts and husband Dave of Myrtle Beach, SC, and granddaughter: Lauren Aberts.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Heather Joy Calhoun, and brother: David Franklin Calhoun.
