Charles Joseph McLennan

Charles Joseph McLennan, 85, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026, at his home. Born on April 22, 1941, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Charles Joseph McLennan and Mary Elizabeth Hirsch McLennan. He was the beloved husband of 65 years to Daphne “Susie” Sue McLennan.

Years ago, Charles worked as a sales representative in the printing industry. He was a lifelong Roman Catholic and was a member of St. Bartholomew Roman Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating, fishing, thoroughbred horse racing, and loved nature.

Surviving him in addition to his wife are children: William James McLennan, Sr. and partner F. Robin, Caroline “Carie” Jane Meyers and husband William, Michele Leigh Harner and husband Thomas, grandchildren: Ashley, William Jr., Carter, Meghan, six great-grandchildren, sister: Katherine Kuhn and husband Thomas, and nieces and nephew: Cynthia, James, and Janet.

Funeral services are private.
