Charles "Moe" Moser, Sr.

Charles "Moe" Eugene Moser, Sr., 90 of Hanover, PA. passed peacefully Thursday Sept. 28, 2017 at his home. Born Jan. 10,1927 in Owings Mills, MD., he was the son of the late Henry Eugene and Emma Louise Fishpaw Moser. He was the husband of the late Christine Mehus Moser who died in 2008.

He was retired from McDonogh School where he worked in maintenance. Years ago, he drove a truck for Baltimore Tank Lines and was a member of the Baltimore County Fire Dept. Station 2 where he was Fireman of the Year in 1963. Moe was a member of Glyndon United Methodist Church and a U.S. Army Veteran.

He is survived by his sons; Charles "Ted" E. Moser, Jr. and wife Sandy and Timothy N. Moser and wife Wendi, all of Hanover, PA. and a sister; Mary Lockard of Towson, MD. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by siblings; Margie Harman and Pete Moser.

The family will receive friends on Monday Oct. 2, 2017 from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. where a funeral service will be held on Tuesday at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
