Charles Raymond Shirley

Charles Raymond Shirley, 86, of Pikesville, passed away peacefully, Thursday, May 5, 2016. Born January 6, 1930, he was the son of the late Francis Shirley and Geraldine Rhodes Shirley. He was the husband of Margie Marie Briggs Shirley, who passed away May 4, 2016. Years ago, he was a machinist with Western Electric and then AT&T. Surviving are his children Donna Hughes and husband Don, and Mark Shirley and wife Doe; his step children Sandra Holtz and husband George, and Calvin Brown and wife Donna; his 11 grandchildren; his 8 great grand-children; his twin brother Joseph Shirley; and was predeceased by his 2 sisters. The family will receive friends 10 a.m. Monday, May 9, 2016 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills until the funeral service begins at 11 a.m. Interment will be private.
