Charles Frederick Stierhoff

On June 23, 2018, Charles "Chuke" F. Stierhoff, loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle and friend, passed away suddenly after a brief illness.

Loved ones that cleared the path for Charles are his parents, Oscar F. Stierhoff and Mary Rose Mills—his brothers George Stierhoff, Howard Stierhoff and Edward Stierhoff.

Charles leaves his loving wife, Sue. They were together for over 50 years. Sue and Charles were an incredible team in life. Their love for one another shown through in everything they did—they were "that" couple that everyone wanted to be around. Their children, Scott and Angie, Kevin and Kate, and grandchildren, Tyler and Emma have an incredible legacy to carry with them through their lives.

His brother, Harry Stierhoff and sister, Mary "Sis" Esworthy will miss their little brother dearly. All the nieces and nephews that Charles had will always remember the time and caring he shared with them. His love will be in their hearts forever.

Charles worked for 39 years at AmTote. His work ethic and loyalty were an example to everyone. His passions, though, are what fueled him in life—drag racing, motors, his '67 Corvette "The Gentleman", the beach house, fishing (especially for sharks), spending as much time as he could with Tyler and Emma, Salisbury Lacrosse, ice cream, his kids and very large family, but most of all, Sue. Charles would want everyone to remember him by always changing their oil.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, June 26, from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 27, at 1:30 pm.

Interment is private.
