Charles Earl Stoner

Charles Earl Stoner,94, of Westminster, MD, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at Westminster Healthcare Center. Born on July 26, 1923 in Creagerstown, Maryland, he was the son of the late Lloy and Clare Victoria Stoner. He was the husband of Ellen G. Stoner nee Pope.

Charles worked many years for J.T.'s General Store. He was also a veteran of the United States Navy and proudly served his country during World War II.

Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Diane Sizemore and husband William, Karen Stoner, Carla Redmond and husband Bruce, Lisa McKenna and husband Robert, 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was predeceased by siblings: Viola Lingg, Helen Jacobson, Jospehine Gallo, Frances Wennell, Lloy Stoner, and Clarence Stoner.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, August 29, from 10 am - 12 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a prayer service will be held at 12 pm. Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
