Charles R. Stroh, Sr. 72 years old of Reisterstown, died Monday, April 6, 2009 at his home.
Born March 11, 1937 in Baltimore County, Maryland, he was the son of the late Charles Eugene Stroh and E. Naomi Lampe Stroh.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years Mary R. O'Daniell Stroh.
Mr. Stroh attended Towson High School. He worked for the Baltimore County Department of Highways. A farmer at heart, he also worked at the Cloverland Dairy Farm.
He was member of All Saints Episcopal Church. He belonged to the Reisterstown Moose Lodge # 1577 and Moose Legion # 10. He held a Fellowship Degree with the Moose Club. He enjoyed woodcrafts and woodworking.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his two children and their spouses, Mary "Bonnie" Bajkowski and husband Tom of Owings Mills and Chuck Stroh and his wife Toni of Reisterstown. Grandfather of Sarah Stroh and Steven and Jason Bajkowski. Also survived by other relatives and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Richard L. Stroh.
Friends may call at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM where funeral services will be held on Friday at 10:00 AM. Rev. David Stenner officiating. Interment in Evergreen Memorial Gardens.
