Charlotte Adele Coarts

Charlotte Adele Coarts, 101, of Upperco, MD, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2025, at Autumn Lake Healthcare at Long View in Manchester, MD.  Born on June 4, 1923, in Baltimore City, MD, she was the daughter of the late Henry Venus Brillhart and Emma Charlotte Benson.  She was the beloved wife of the late Ralph Emerson Coarts, who passed away in 1998.

Charlotte was a member of Reisterstown Baptist Church and the Glyndon Community Bible Class, where she was secretary.

Surviving her are children: Charlene Hughes and husband Wayne, David Emerson Coarts, Sr.,   grandchildren: Kristin Wehner and husband Christopher, Kevin Hughes and wife Lisa Bergman, Keith Hughes, Adele Marie Coarts, David Emerson Coarts, Jr., Ashley Wallett Demers, and great-grandchildren: Allison and Matthew Wehner.

A family graveside service will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery, Woodlawn, MD.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlotte's name may be offered to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
