Charlotte Metzger Coffroad Franz, 83, of Owings Mills died July 6, 2008 at Seasons Hospice at Northwest Hospital Center in Randallstown.
She was born in Millersville, Pa on November 8, 1924 and was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin Metzger and Eva Moore Metzger. She was the wife of the late James Sweigart Coffroad Sr. and Henry Franz.
She was a Registered Nurse at Carroll County General Hospital in Westminster.
Surviving are her daughter and son in law Karen and Walter Wahl of Reisterstown, her sons and daughters in law James, Jr. and Debra Coffroad of Pasadena and Brian and Jan Coffroad of Reisterstown, her sister and brother in law Marlasee and C. Herbert Douts of Seven Valleys, PA, her six grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
A funeral service will held 10:00 Wednesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, with the Rev. William V.P. Sitterley Jr. officiating. Interment in St. Stephen's Reformed Church Cemetery in New Holland, PA.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral chapel.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Season's Hospice, 7008 Security Blvd Baltimore, MD 21244.
