Charlotte C. Denk

Charlotte C. Denk, 94 of Westminster, MD passed away on Friday, March 14, 2025, at Sunflower Hill Assisted Living in Westminster, MD.  Born on January 17, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Anna Blakaj Widra.  She was the wife of the late Jerome George Denk, Sr., who passed away in 1995.

Charlotte was a teacher, worked as a crossing guard, and was an assistant at CROSSMARK.  She enjoyed spending time at home and loved the opportunities to be with her family.

She is survived by her children: Jerome G. Denk, Jr. and wife Martha of Ocean City, MD, Mary Ellen Burke and husband William of Manchester, MD, Deborah Charlotte Bair and husband Wayne of Manchester, MD, and Thomas M. Denk, Sr. and wife Janice of Dundalk, MD.  Her grandchildren include Jerome, III, Kymberly, Charity, Marty, Billy, Tommy, Andy, Stephen, Thomas, Jr., and Nicole. The great grandchildren are Jaiden, Corbin, Brennah, Quinn, Rory, Summer, Elijah, Zoe, Theo, Nidas, Liam, Jay, Colin, Phoebe, Heidi, Sophie, Michael, Jake, Tori, Luke, Grace, Charlee, Ryder, Peyton, Baylee and Celeste.  Great-great grandchildren are Charlotte and Lucas.

She was predeceased by her great grandson Owen.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, March 18, from 4-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, March 19, at 11 am, at St. John's Roman Catholic Church, 43 Monroe Street, Westminster, MD. The eulogy is to begin at 10:50 am.

A private interment will be in Garrison Forest Veterans Cemetery at a later date.
