Charlotte "Chotts" E. Harmon age 82 of Reisterstown, MD. died Sunday April 4, 2010 at the Bond's Forest Country Care in Finksburg, MD.
Born Feb. 26, 1928 in Linthicum Heights, MD. she was the daughter of the late Charles Albert and Jennie Evans Schneider.
She was the wife of the late Virgil Eugene "Gene" Harmon who died Nov. 13, 1992.
She was a 1945 graduate of Franklin High School. Years ago she was a dental assistant for Dr. Leonard Piven's office where she had worked for 39 years. She also had worked for Future Care at Cherrywood as a receptionist for 20 years. She was a member of Reisterstown United Methodist Church in Reisterstown, MD. also a member of the Willing Workers, Reisterstown Moose 1577 and enjoyed Square Dancing. She enjoyed the beach, animals, wildlife and being with her dogs.
She is survived by her children: Glen D. Harmon and wife Lynn of Reisterstown, MD. and Bonnie Harmon and husband Glenn Bowen of Westminster, MD. Grandchildren: Marissa and Daniel Harmon and a brother: Charles Albert "Murph" Schneider of Georgia.
She was predeceased by a sister: Jennie Phoebus.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, MD. on Thursday at 10:00 am with her pastor Rev. Carol Yocum officiating.
Interment will be in Evergreen Mem. Gardens, Finksburg, MD.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday from 3-5 and 7-9 pm at the funeral chapel.
