Christa B. Crone

Christa B. Crone, 79, of Manchester, passed away on Wednesday, April 5, 2023, at her home. Born on June 26, 1943, in Nassig, Germany, she was the daughter of the late Michael Kraft and Emma (Dosch) Kraft. She was the wife of Mike Morrison.

Christa emigrated to the United States in 1969 and eventually opened her own business in Manchester as a seamstress, fabricating sportswear. She loved working at the business and took great pride in her work. She was an avid gardener and well known for her generosity with the results of her green thumb. Early and late in the day she enjoyed her sun-room, watching the birds around her many feeders while also shooing away those pesky squirrels.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her two sons: Robert Crone of Annapolis, and Jason Morrison of Manchester, her grandchildren: Danielle, Timothy, and Tyler. Her family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to special friend Ramona Crone for her loving care.

Services and interment will be private.
