Clara Brooks age 90 of Owings Mills, MD died Monday May 19, 2014 at the Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster, MD.
Born May 29,1923 in Baltimore she was the daughter of the late John and Stella Majewska Sczeszek.
She was the wife of the late Wilbur Dorsey Brooks who died in 2010.
She had worked as an inspector for Maryland Cup for over 25 years. She enjoyed playing bingo at the Boring Fire House.
Surviving are her children: Joan M. Chester Reese and husband Jerry of Hampstead, MD and John H. Shipley and wife Linda Majek of Baltimore, MD. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by sons: Robert and Lawrence Chester and 6 siblings.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills, MD on Friday at 11:00am.
Interment will be in Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens, Timonium, MD.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
