Clara Louella Wilson

Clara Louella Wilson, 93, of Hampstead, MD, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022, at Sinai Hospital in Baltimore, MD. Born on July 12, 1928, in Stilwell, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of the late Isaac J. Kester and Bessie Youarbou Kester. Twice married, she was the beloved wife of the late Roland Kenneth Wilson, and the late Robert E. Sies.

Clara worked as a seamstress for English American and Maryland Hampstead Clothing Company. She was a member of Hampstead Baptist Church and enjoyed her Sunday school class.

Surviving her are children: Sharon K. Latimer and husband William of Reisterstown, Charles V. Sies and wife Susan of Hampstead, James A. Sies and wife Ruth of Westminster. She is also survived by 2 step-sons, 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren and her beloved dog, Coby.

She was predeceased by her children: Robert E. Sies, Jr., Brenda L. Reed, Audrey L. Combs, and great-grandson: Brent Hahn. She was the last of 12 siblings.

The family will receive visitors on Wednesday, April 13, from 6-8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD, where a funeral service will be held on Thursday, April 14 at 10 am. Per family request, please observe all COVID precautions.

Interment to follow in Marburg Memorial Gardens, Hanover, PA.
