Claude C. "Jimmy" Cline Sr., 86, died Friday, Aug. 27, 2010, at Longview Nursing Home in Manchester.
Born June 2, 1924, in Cumberland, he was the son of the late Clealand W. and Nellie E. Northcraft Cline. He was the husband of Ruby Mae Swain Cline, who died June 17, 1986.
He was a licensed plumber and worked for Rosewood State Hospital, Heer Brothers, and Maryland Mechanical Systems. He enjoyed beagles, bowling and going to the North Carroll Senior Center.
Surviving are daughters and sons-in-law Marilyn and Lawrence Lorenzo, of Edgewood, and Nelly and David Warren, of Lineboro; son and daughter-in-law Joseph and Tammy Cline, of Upperco; grandchildren and spouses Rachel Windsor and husband Jeffery, Joshua Lorenzo, MA2 United States Navy, and wife Kayla, Rebekah Lorenzo, Dena and Alicia Warren, and Susannah and Sarah Cline; great-grandchild Daxton Anthony Windsor; and siblings June Cline Moss Couter, Patricia Cline Thompson Glover, Charles Cline, and William Allen "Max" Cline.
He was predeceased by a son, Claude C. "Jimmy" Cline Jr.; and siblings Mary Catherine Hutchinson, Evelyn Rueschel, Lena Decker, Clealand W. Cline Jr., Kenneth Cline, Maryland Cross, and Hannah Pauline Cline.
The family will receive friends 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Michael Roach officiating.
Interment will be in Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
