Concetta G. Purpura, 91 years old of Oro Valley, Arizona, formally of Pikesville, died Friday, August 3, 2012 in Arizona.
Born August 18, 1920 in Cefalu, Sicily, she was the daughter of the late Guiseppi and Serafina Glorioso.
She was the wife of the late Salvatore Purpura who died in 1994.
She is survived by her daughter: Concetta Purpura Glorioso, grandchildren: Rosa M. Dailey, Concetta J. Jugo, Lisa M. Chalk and Frank J. Glorioso, great grandchildren: Isabel M. Dailey, Madeline S. Dailey, Julie N. Jugo-Tom, Suzanne M. Jugo-Nichol, Christina M. DiSantostefano and Michael DiSantostefano, great great grandchildren: Thomas P. Nichol, Jeremy M. DiSantostefano, Kimberly M. DiSantostefano-Knight, Isabella DiSantostefano, Samantha Tom and her brother Vincenzo Glorioso.
Friends may call on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A. 11605 Reisterstown Rd. Owings Mills.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday 11:00 AM at St. Charles Borromeo Roman Catholic Church, 101 Church Lane, Pikesville.
Entombment in Druid Ridge Cemetery.
