Craig Allan Garland

Craig Allan Garland, 66, of Taneytown, MD, passed away on Thursday, June 9, 2022, at his residence. Born on October 1, 1955 in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of the late Edward Malone Garland and Kate Marie Yelton Garland. He was the beloved husband of Vickie Lynn Fowble Garland.

Craig graduated from North Carroll High School in 1974. He worked for Genstar Maintenance as a maintenance operator. He was an avid hunter, enjoyed skeet shooting, and loved being outside whenever he could. Craig was devoted to his family and will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving in addition to his wife is a daughter: Angie Corinne Garland of Taneytown, MD, and siblings: Dennis Garland and wife Sara Urso of Colorado, Valerie Shade of Manchester, MD, Lee Garland and wife Julie of Roundhill, VA, Karl Garland of Lusby, MD, Joy Plaine of Manchester, MD, and Melissa Keeneer and husband David of Cambridge, MD.

He was predeceased by his daughter: Holly Christine Garland, and brothers-in-law: Don Shade and John Plaine.

The family will receive visitors on Monday, June 13, from 11-1 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102, where a funeral service will begin at 1 pm.

Interment will be private.
