Craig Duane Sheckels, Jr., 24, of Owings Mills, died unexpectedly on December 10, 2008 at his home.
Born May 1, 1984 in Baltimore, he was the son of Craig Duane Sheckels, Sr. of Owings Mills and Gina Maria Rankin of Lansdowne.
He was the grandson of Genevieve E. Rankin of Lansdowne.
He was self employed in lawn maintenance. He was a graduate of Owings Mills High School. He also enjoyed playing video games.
Surviving in addition to his parents and grandmother is his brother Robert Lee Hewitt, Jr. and his sister Lauren Margaret Hewitt both of Arbutus, his Soul mate Stephanie A. Bower of Owings Mills. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends.
A funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Monday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills with Pastor Kevin T. Hardy officiating. Interment will be in All Saints Cemetery, Reisterstown.
The family will receive friends on Saturday and Sunday 3-5 and 7-9 pm. at the funeral chapel.
