Dale William Sanner, 57 years old of Ellicott City, died Friday, December 7, 2012 at his home.
Born January 24, 1955 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late John Edward Sanner and Mamie Louise Clark Sanner.
In addition to his companion of twenty years, Ben Rowland, he is survived by his siblings: Sherman Davis of Virginia; John "Buddy" Sanner of Grasonville, MD; Charles "Beano" Sanner of Hagerstown, MD; Denver Sanner of Pasadena, MD; and David Sanner of Glen Burnie, MD.
He was predeceased in death by a sister, Wanda Burke.
Dale was loved by many because he loved so many. He bettered those that he loved, worked with, lived with and touched on his travels. Family meant everything to Dale, and it is those who will miss him the most. After retiring from Amtrak, he worked with special needs children and adults. A gifted interior decorator, he loved his dogs, gardening and entertaining. He lived a celebrated life and asked that all do so in his absence. Dale will be missed, but the difference he made to our lives endures.
Services and Interment are Private.
