Dana Edward Rytel, 63, of Hanover, PA died Sunday, October 10, 2010 at the University of Maryland Hospital in Baltimore after an extended illness.
Born May 8, 1947 in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Tom R. Danzey and Irene A. Danzey. He was the husband of Shirley Ann Harris Rytel.
He was a carpenter by trade and was employed by Carroll County Roads Department for the past 5 years.
Surviving is his children David T. Rytel of Hanover, PA and Jennifer D. Rytel of Pasadena; his granddaughter Ava Joanna Gervasio; his sister Lacretia "Sis" Latham of Florida; his niece Shannon "Rookie" Naill and her husband Jamie; and also survived by 2 nephews.
He was predeceased by one nephew.
The family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12 noon Wednesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with a private cremation to follow at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel in Manchester.
Interment will be private.
