Daniel Leon Berwager

Daniel Leon Berwager, 58, of Hampstead, MD, passed suddenly Monday, September 4 ^th , 2017 at home. Born on January 9 ^th , 1959, in Hanover, PA, he was the son of Edward Leon Berwager of Manchester and the late Nadine Mary Shorb. He was the husband of Robin Elaine Rill Berwager, his wife of thirty-five years.

Daniel was a welder and faithful employee of LafargeHolcim. He was a U.S. Marine Corps veteran and enjoyed being with his family and working.

Surviving, in addition to his wife and father, are his sons Michael S. Cooper and wife Christine of Hanover, PA and Gregory S. Cooper and companion Marisa Sanders of Hampstead, MD, grandchildren Sarah and Daniel Cooper of Hanover, PA and Celia Valko and goddaughter Danielle Harpine. Brother Edward Berwager of Las Vegas, NV and Bonnie Harpine and husband Daniel of Red Lion, PA. Also survived by nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by a brother, Scott Berwager and a nephew, Jacob Harpine.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 8 ^th , 2017 from 7:00 to 8:00 PM at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 where a service will be held at 8:00 PM. Interment will be private.
