Darlene Yvonne Cordy

Darlene Yvonne Cordy, 75, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on Wednesday, January 18, 2023, at her home. Born on April 28, 1947, in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Wallace Weir, Sr. and Dorothy Hartle Weir. She was the beloved wife of William Edward Cordy.

Darlene worked in clothing retail as a manager. She enjoyed reading and cross stitching. She loved traveling to Colonial Williamsburg with her husband, and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Surviving her in addition to her husband is a sister-in-law: Jacqueline "Jackie" Weir, nephews and niece: Christopher Weir, John Weir, Juliane Kellar, great-nieces and nephews: Justin Weir, Kristen Weir, Amanda Weir, Braden Weir, Avery Kellar, Delany Kellar, and great-great-niece: Evelyn Weir.

Darlene was predeceased by her brother: Joseph Wallace Weir, Jr.

The family will receive visitors on Tuesday, January 24, from 10 am – 12 pm, at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117, where a funeral service will begin at 12 pm.

Interment to follow in Lake View Memorial Park, Sykesville, MD.
