David Eugene Baer age 75 of Hampstead, MD died Thursday Nov. 4, 2010 at the Longview Nursing Home in Manchester, MD.
Born Dec. 21, 1934 in Frederick, MD. he was the son of the late Margaret Pauline Baer. He was the husband of Annabell May Swam Baer his wife of 58 years.
He was a retired supervisor for Gray & Son where he had worked for 48 years. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, boating and working in his yard.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Darlene Wheeler of Hampstead, MD., David J. Baer of Parkville, MD., Dirk Baer and wife Nancy of Manchester, MD. and Denise Ann Wheeler-Bishop and husband James of Manchester, MD. Grandchildren: Tammy, Eric, Joaney, Joshua, Brent, Brady and Cody. He is also survived by 6 great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel P.A. 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD. on Monday at 10:00am. with the Rev. Matthew Schenning officiating.
Interment will be in the New Lutheran Cemetery, Manchester, MD.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 3-5 and 7-9pm. at the funeral chapel.
