David Arthur Chaney age 62 of Westminster, MD died Saturday July 17, 2010 at the Carroll Hospice Dove House in Westminster, MD.
Born Nov. 15, 1947 in Reisterstown, MD, he was the son of the late Robert Earl and Louise King Broadfoot Chaney. He was the husband of Frances Elaine Scholtes Chaney his wife of 42 years.
He was an auto mechanic for the Baltimore County Police Dept. He enjoyed waterskiing and boating and had served in the United States Coast Guard.
Surviving in addition to his wife are children: Brenda Elaine Chaney Leese and husband Rodney of Manchester, MD and Robert David Chaney and wife Cheryl of Hanover, PA, sister Mary Louise Chaney of Reisterstown, MD and grandchildren Hunter Andrew and Hailey Morgan Leese and Logan Alexander, Bryce Robert and Cadence Marie Chaney.
The family will receive friends 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD where a funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday.
A private cremation will be held at a later date at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel, Manchester, MD.
