David Wayne Criss, Sr., 48, of Hanover, PA formerly of Westminster died Sunday, September 14, 2008 at Carroll Hospital Center in Westminster.

Born April 3, 1960 in Elkins, WV and was the son Mary Pugh Boyce and the late Edward Criss, Sr. He was the husband of Charlotte Pauline "Bo" Houck Criss, his wife of 25 years.

Mr. Criss was employed as an engineer for the Baltimore County School System. He attended Poly Technical High School in Baltimore and was a member of Northwest Baptist Church. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing and watching football and NASCAR. He loved spending time with his family.

Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are his daughter and son in law Lisa Marie and Troy D. Fuhrman and his son David W. Criss, Jr., and his granddaughter Alexis E. Fuhrman, all of Hanover, PA; his step father Albert Boyce, Sr. of Reisterstown; his sister Janice Hosband of Dillsburg, PA; his brothers Robert Criss of Westminster and Edward Criss, Jr. of Cordus, PA; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral service will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday at Eckhardt Funeral Chapel, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester with Rev. Jeffrey Blaylock officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Hanover, PA.

The family will receive friends from 3-5 and 7-9 p.m. on Wednesday and on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at the funeral chapel.
