David Joseph Mcmahon

David Joseph McMahon, 66, of Manchester, MD, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021, at his home.  Born on March 18, 1955, he was the son of the late Daniel F. and Irene Ann McMahon. He grew up in Owings Mills and graduated from Franklin Senior High in 1973.

David retired from the Maryland State Highway Administration after 30 years as a heavy equipment mechanic.  After he retired, he followed his dream of driving tractor trailers and was working for Cowan Systems, LLC. recently.

He enjoyed riding his Harley, and going to stock car/go cart races.  He was always willing to help anyone who needed a helping hand and loved his grandsons.

Surviving him are children: Melissa German and Christopher McMahon, both of Finksburg, MD, grandsons: Michael German and Benjamin McMahon, and brothers: Daniel McMahon, Patrick McMahon, and Dennis McMahon.

The family will receive visitors on Thursday, September 30, 2021 from 6 – 8 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102.
