David "Glenn" Meekins

David " Glenn " Meekins, 66, of Finksburg, MD, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, at UM St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson, MD. Born on April 23, 1958, in Baltimore, MD, he was the son of Nelson Wayne Meekins and Josephine Annette Eaton Meekins.  He was the beloved husband of 45 years to Sharon Ann Meekins.

Years ago, Glenn worked as an equipment machinist. He enjoyed hunting when he was younger, and going on trips to the ocean with his wife, Sharon.  He liked playing and watching sports, especially baseball and football. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

Surviving him in addition to his wife is a son: Daniel Scott Meekins, Sr. and girlfriend Corissa, grandchildren: Morgann Wilso Meekins, Daniel Scott Meekins, Jr., and great-grandchildren: Jaxon Andrew and Paislee Wilso Tabling.  Glenn is also survived by his sisters: Robin Spurrier and husband John, Beth Nall and husband Dave, Cathy D'Elia and husband Chas, Theresa Buck and husband John, Stacey Richards and husband Michael, and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive visitors on Friday, October 4, from 1-3 pm and 5-7 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD.

Interment is private.
