Deborah Harrison Pritchett, 60, of Hampstead passed away peacefully Monday, September 7, 2015 at St. Joseph Medical Center in Towson. Born March 6, 1955 in Baltimore, she was the daughter of the late William Franklin Harrison and Doris Ann Neely Harrison. She was the wife of Garey Grant Pritchett, her husband of 40 years.
She was a retired secretary from the Carroll County Board of Education with 20 years of service. In her spare time, she enjoyed spending time with her family, going to the beach, reading, and loved music. She was eagerly anticipating the arrival of her newest grandchild.
Surviving in addition to her husband are her children Amy JoAnn Pritchett, Garey William Pritchett and wife Stacey Turner Pritchett; her grandson Camden Tate Pritchett; her granddaughter to be Emma Grace Pritchett; her sisters Barbara Ann Hayne and husband Gordon, and Nancy Lee Davis and husband Richard; and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A private cremation was held at All Faiths Crematory and Chapel. The family will receive friends for a memorial gathering 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, September 10, 2015 at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester where a memorial service will follow at 7 p.m. Interment will be at a later date in the Greenmount U.M.C. Cemetery.
