Dennis Edward Petry

Dennis Edward Petry, 81, of Hampstead, MD passed peacefully on Friday, September 8, 2017 at his home. Born August 17, 1936 in Westminster, MD, he was the son of the late David Petry and Margaret Utermahlen Petry.

Dennis enjoyed cats and drinking coffee.

Surviving him are his brother Mahlen D. Petry and wife Brenda of York Springs, PA, nieces Tara Fields and husband Peter, Tanya Lamo and husband Scott.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 13 from 9:00-10:00 AM at ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 3296 Charmil Drive, Manchester, MD 21102 with funeral services beginning at 10:00 AM. The Rev. Sam Chamelin will officiate. Interment to follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery.
