Dessie Ann Hann

Dessie Ann Hann, 96, of Westminster, MD, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at Carroll Lutheran Village in Westminster, MD. Born on September 27, 1929, in Manchester, MD, she was the daughter of the late Milton E. Snyder and Naomi M. (Burgoon) Snyder. She was the beloved wife of the late David Albert Hann, who passed away in 1991.

Dessie was a secretary for J.H. Brough & Co., Inc., an insurance company in Westminster, for 48 years. She was a life member and past president of the Manchester VFD Ladies Auxiliary, the Hanover VFW Post 2506, as well as past president of the Carroll County VFD Ladies Auxiliary. She was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church, where she served as secretary, sung in the choir, taught Sunday school for 21 years, and served on the church council.

She is survived by many friends she has made throughout the years.
