Dolly Marie Wunder

Dolly Marie Wunder, 76, of Owings Mills, MD, passed away on March 6, 2021, at her home. Born on December 25, 1944, in Martinsburg, WV, she was the daughter of the late Charles E. and Helen Rouse Sauders Carper. She was the beloved wife of 55 years to Richard Anthony Wunder.

Years ago, Dolly worked as a hairdresser. She was a longtime member of the Church of the Open Door. She was a published author of the book "Life Does Go On". Dolly enjoyed doing arts and crafts, loved anything sparkly, and could frequently be seen in sparkly blouses. Above all else, she loved to spend time with her family.

Surviving her in addition to her husband are children: Dawn Marie Crawford and husband Lawrence "Butch", Julie Lynn Godwin and husband Eric, and Aaron Wunder and wife Joy, 13 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild, and sisters: Carol Hagy, Pam Corbin, and April Krebbs.

She was predeceased by siblings: Bonnie DeLoach and Charles "Eddie" Carper, Jr.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 10, from 10 am – 12 pm at the ECKHARDT FUNERAL CHAPEL, P.A., 11605 Reisterstown Road, Owings Mills, MD 21117.

Due to the ongoing pandemic, funeral services and interment are private.

If desired, instead of floral arrangements, potted plants are preferred.
